Since Yunnan Biomedine and Health Industry Promotion Center (hereinafter referred to as "Promotion Center") formally carried out the professional pilot construction of science and technology plan project management in 2017, it has completed the approval and management of science and technology plan projects in the field of bio-medicine in 2018 and 2019 under the guidance of the relevant divisions of Science and Technology Department of Yunnan Province. This year is the second year of 2018 project in implementation, and it is also a key year for the organization and implementation of the projects. In order to do a good job in the management and promotion of the science and technology projects in the field of bio-medicine managed by the Promotion Center, and to cooperate with the preparation of the 2019 South Asian Southeast Asian Countries Commodity Exhibition and Investment and Trade Fair Bio-medicine and Health Hall, on May 14^th, the Promotion Center held the science and technology plan project promotion conference in the field of bio-medicine, and conducted interpretation and training on the current changes in the management policies of provincial science and technology projects. The meeting was presided over by Ding Kun, Director of the Social Development Division of the Department. Hu Qixiang, Vice President of the YAST and Deputy Director of the Promotion Center, and relevant leaders of the Supervisory Division, Resource Allocation Division and Planning Division of the Department attended the meeting. The responsible persons of the science and technology management departments of 30 major science and technology projects in the field of bio-medicine approved in 2018 and 2019, and more than 160 project managers from more than 80 units in different cities of the province attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Kunming Institute of Botany (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Yunnan Agricultural University, Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine, First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, Yunnan Baiyao Group exchanged experiences on the organization and management of major science and technology projects, and introduced the experiences and practices in the organization and implementation of major projects, the use of funds, and the overall coordination of projects. The leaders of Resource Allocation Division interpreted the latest policies on the current project management and fund use of the provincial science and technology plan.

Hu Qixiang, Vice President of the YAST, and Deputy Director of the Promotion Center, put forward clear requirements for the next step of the organization and implementation of the projects, and mobilized the organization of the 2019 South Asian Southeast Asian countries Commodity Fair and Investment and Trade Fair Bio-medicine and Health Hall, which is managed by the Department. The relevant leaders of Supervision Division, Resource Allocation Division and Planning Division introduced the functions of the Divisions after the reform of organization, and made targeted guidance speeches on the integrity of scientific research, project organization and management, science and technology reports, etc.

Finally, Director Ding Kun gave remarks about the organization and implementation of the projects, the promotion of the biomedine industry, and thinking about the work in the field of bio-medicine in 2020. He required each project undertaking unit to do a good job in the organization and implementation of the research projects, actively plan new projects and support the work of scientific and technological innovation in the province.
